My client is a rapidly growing Real Estate business based in Central London who are looking for an ambitious finance professional to grow out their finance team in a newly created position. The role has been made due to the impressive growth of the business over the last 24 months and the position will require someone with the entrepreneurial spirit that a developing company requires. As an individual you will be expected to have extensive experience in the property space and strong interest in the wider real estate market and your own personal development. The role itself is as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Manager for three BTR schemes
- Overseeing the accounting for the SPVS
- Input to the quarterly financial investor reporting including setting up a system to track key data and reporting deadlines
- Preparation of the year end accounts for SPVS
- Relay information to the outsourced accounting function
- Coordination with property accountants; verification of property accounting entries in Yardi
- Assist in the corporate accounting
- Support the audit and financial accounts function
Key Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification
- Knowledge of UK GAAP
- Real Estate experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven team player
