Finance Analyst (Portuguese Speaking)

Your new company is one of the most exciting companies in the B2B Tech sector right now, and with an ever growing client-base. They are continuing to expand both through organic growth, as well as their focus on acquiring businesses - and have a run-rate of 5 acquisitions a year for the last couple of years, and this is set to continue.

Your new client started the year with a turnover just shy of £400m, and has a truly global operation. This role will sit as a key part of their growth story as they look to expand their old of the South American market.


Your New Role

This Finance Analyst position will be a key part of the Group Finance team , and will be primarily responsible for delivering accurate and timely management reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually), as well as a continued focus on improving current processes and controls. You will also take charge of the production of Management and Statutory Accounts.

As this business is going through such aggressive acquisition activity, you will have a great opportunity to get involved in the M&A for the business, specifically in the South American market.

You will act as the key point of contact for the South America region, with the key country in your 'patch' being Brazil, but also - given the language skill you will possess, you will also lead Portugal. Your work in this regard will largely be about ensuring financial data and information is able to be consolidated by the Group. However, you will also have responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, setting and monitoring KPI's, and forecasting and budgeting.

What You Need to Succeed

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Equivalent)
• Fluent Portuguese speaker
• Experience reporting under IFRS
• Experience in M&A would be ideal
