Customer Accounts Assistant

I am currently recruiting for my client a globally recognisable logistics company for their Accountancy and Finance team. This is a permanent position with possible room for progression. My client is looking for a reliable and motivated candidate who is going to be an excellent asset to their team.

What my client is looking for;

- Someone with VAT experience (Unfortunately we can not consider you for this role unless you have experience with VAT)

- Bifa trained preferable but not essential

- A self motivated self starter

- A good communicator and team player

- Eager to learn and progress within Finance

- Someone who is immediately available

Roles and Responsibilities

- Responsible for maintaining Ledger

- Liaising with HMRC in regards to Duty and VAT Returns

- Chasing aged debt when needed

- Meeting daily KPI's

- Updating finance reports, spread sheets and systems

- Answering inbound calls to deal with customer queries
