Chief Operating Officer

A Highly entrepreneurial London based Start up Technology business is seeking a COO to take responsibility for the effective running of operations whilst driving the extensive and sustainable growth ambitions of the business. As a key member of the Executive team, working with a highly entrepreneurial first time founder, you will have responsibility for overseeing implementation of objectives, managing financial and operational risk, and driving business performance levels.

As COO you will be required to liaise effectively with staff across the business, therefore the role involves strong communicative skills. Managing a small team to support financial operations including budgets, forecasts and projections, you will be required to bring in best practice with regards to systems processes and controls. You will also be responsible for analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data in order to ensure that the business is able to achieve its strategic growth plans and ambitions.

The COO will have proven experience of running a business within a similar role, and a strong ability to lead and manage a team with the ability to make key strategic decisions. An ability to develop the skills of those around you and prove a true business partner to the founding CEO is essential.
