Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic, forward thinking organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is a market leader in the property investment industry and this role sits within their contemporary offices based in South Manchester. Working with a rapidly expanding brand of this ambitious organisation, this exciting opportunity will provide the successful individual with the chance to develop their skills with the support of an experienced team.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

* Updating cashbooks and allocating cash daily

* Processing BACs and priority payments

* Processing investor payments and working closely with customer engagement to proactively resolve any queries

* Using bespoke, in-house software to process any refunds of rental income

* Supporting the Purchase edger and Senior Accounts Assistant with any additional ad-hoc duties

* Liaising with the wider finance team to continuously identify and implement new process improvements

The ideal Accounts Assistant will:

* Have previous experience in a similar accounting role

* Have good attention to detail and excellent time management skills

* Be a strong communicator and have the ability to work autonomously
