This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, capable and experienced accountant (preferably with Associate status) who looks beyond the numbers and wants to add value to this leading North West based charity.

The Head of Finance will be a member of Nugent’s senior leadership team and will have responsibility for the day to day management of the finance team including exercising internal financial control throughout Nugent services.

Experience of implementing and enhancing finance systems and procedures and the development of financial forecasting tools are required to succeed in this role.  In addition, you will have extensive experience of managing monthly financial management accounting processes, regular financial reforecasting routines and the annual statutory accounting requirements in preparation for audit. Exposure to the costing of tenders and what if scenarios would also be desirable.  A knowledge of the sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
