As part of a succession plan to underpin the profitable growth that is being experienced, a newly created role arises for a business aware qualified (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) accountant. We seek applicants from those that have previously managed a finance team to produce and develop from a broad range of data and financial reports, relevant, accurate and insightful monthly management accounts and MI. As part of your remit you should possess the desire to support the Finance Director and the leadership group in the exciting growth plans of the business.

Your responsibilities will also include regular compliance checks to meet company and legislation standards and ensure a no surprises financial MI output for the company, so along with supporting and learning from the Finance Director, the role is an excellent career developmental role.

At a transactional level your duties you will be:

• Producing monthly reports and accounts to meet deadlines for review by the Finance Director
• Develop and enhance the existing suite of financial KPIs
• Manage a capable finance team and assist team members in their development

• Maintain a robust profit and cash-flow forecast model for the entire business and performance.

• Ensure compliance with all financial activities to meet company and legislation requirements.

• Suggest new ways for the business to develop further into new products and how to introduce new products with supporting financial analyses.

• Effectively communicate with and challenge other management colleagues
