Financial Accountant

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and P&L processes for the trading division of the business.  The role is extremely fluid, allowing you to make your mark in an ever- changing business environment. You will also be responsible for supporting the Asset Management & Fund Management division of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily P&L, budgeting and forecasting process
• Review the final P&L before distributing to various business stakeholders
• Business Partnering with various stakeholders to deal with any queries being directed
• Responsible for trade and Cash processing
• Manage and review the balance sheet reconciliation process
• Preparation of Financial Statements and Management Accounts
• Assist with VAT, Corporate Tax and Regulatory filings when necessary

Key Skill & Experience:

• Newly Qualified Accountant/Finalist (ACCA/CIMA)
• Ideally come from a Financial Services background
• Experience in working with accounting standards and producing financial statements
• Experience in use of Excel to an advanced level
• Have an eye for detail and a hands-on approach
• Be a team player with a flexible mind-set
• Have strong and demonstrable interest in IT and automation
