An exciting role has arisen within the group finance function of a multinational media and digital marketing company headquartered in central London. Reporting into a charismatic Director, this is a broad role offering the successful candidate a challenging blend of technical advisory responsibilities, along with traditional group reporting and M&A activities.
The Technical Accounting Manager will be tasked with driving the global technical accounting agenda and, as such, sound IFRS knowledge will be essential. To establish credibility with various international stakeholders, candidates must have demonstrable group reporting experience – either from a move to industry post-qualifying or from a secondment.
Candidates must come from an audit background and, likely, a Big 4 practice. They will have demonstrable IFRS knowledge and experience of an IFRS 15/16 implementation. They will be able to display a passion for (if not experience in) the media industry and a track record of supporting and challenging various senior-level stakeholders.
