Assistant Management Accountant

Venn Group is currently working with a European logistics company to recruit an outstanding permanent Assistant Management Accountant to join their team.

The company is a European logistics business; they’re looking to add to their team in the Black Country area. You will be exposed to the international accounting market allowing you to develop and grow your expertise in Management Accounts.

Duties:

• Assisting in the preparation of the production of weekly and monthly management accounts
• Reconciling the balance sheet in addition to supplier cost invoices
• Liaising with Operation Managers to ensure that all clients are billed accurately and on time
• Providing support to budget holders in regards to financials when making financial decisions
• Liaising with external departments to ensure that all costs are taken into consideration  

The successful candidate will hold the following:

• Educated to degree level, holding a 2:1 classification and above
• A minimum of three years’ accounting experience, either in industry or practice
• Experience assisting with preparation of management accounts
• Ability to present reviews to Senior Management confidently
• Proven ability to work towards targets and deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
