A highly reputable and successful organisation based in Liverpool are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team and work alongside a highly supportive and knowledgeable Financial Controller. In what is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career in working towards becoming a future FC within a commercial environment, responsibilities will include:

- Monthly Management accounts
- Variance analysis & reporting
- Business Planning & forecasting
- WIP - Analysis of business operations by project
- Business Partnering with Operational teams
- Weekly project forecast
- Sales & margin analysis
- Cost Control
- Sales bid pricing calculations
- Fixed Asset Control
- Expenses
- Balance sheet reconciliation - including VAT, Tax & Control accounts
- Supervising a small team of 2 Accounts Assistants
- Hands on support to sales invoicing, credit control, purchasing & accounts payable

Applicants will either be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA Management Accountants or later stage active studiers with experience spanning most of the specified duties. You will also (preferably) hold a finance degree and must have excellent analytical skills & problem-solving skills; Good communication & interpersonal skills; A good attention to detail; Ability to work under pressure; and will be self-motivated with the drive to succeed. You will also have a high level of IT proficiency and will be a real team player with the gravitas, personality & style of approach required to successfully engage with all levels including senior management. This excellent career opportunity is complimented with a salary of up to £40,000 and benefits including a discretionary company bonus, 25 days holiday, a 37.5 hour working week - with flexible working time options - and additional benefits such as childcare & employee discounts.
