Four Recruitment are seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis to join our client based in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well-established, reputable company with a strong finance team, were you will report directly to the Financial Controller.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the timely and accurate distribution of both consolidated invoices and statements
- Working closely with the IT and Operations teams, ensure processes are continually reviewed and managed to eliminate mistakes in invoicing - which subsequently hold up payment
- Assist the customer solutions team in the implementation of new customers and their invoicing requirements
- Working with Operations team, deliver a clean daily un-invoiced report, with minimal transactions and value outstanding
- Deliver on ad hoc invoicing and credit note requests within the agreed departmental SLA
- Support the Credit Controllers in resolving invoicing queries, so as to help expedite payment
- As when possible and required, assist the Credit Controllers in debt chasing
The ideal candidate:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Team worker with good verbal and written communication skills
- High levels of data accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Sage 200 desirable
