Description
Key Finance Manager role functions:
Preparation of journal entries for designated areas of the business
Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations for various subsidiaries
Calculation and preparation of quarterly management and other central services cross-charges required for tax or other reasons
Assist in intercompany account reconciliations
Ad-hoc financial tasks as required to support the wider team, Group Finance and the business as a whole
Ensure revenue recognition is compliant with relevant international accounting standards, in particular IFRS15
Collection and uploading of revenue recognition dates to sales documents into the accounting system
Running the monthly routines in revenue recognition module and posting of monthly revenue recognition journals
Calculation and posting of monthly non-system calculated revenue
Monthly reconciliation of deferred revenue module balances back to balance sheet values
Liaise with the Accounts Receivable & Assure teams to ensure integrity of data between the finance & CRM systems is consistent
Create revenue reports for monthly board pack, including necessary commentary of variances in actuals to comparators
Lead on the revenue section for the annual Statutory Audit Maintenance and control of revenue recognition module system parameters for sales items
