Finance Business Analyst
This profitable FTSE 250 Facilities Management group specialises in the planning, installation & management of real estate, ensuring buildings and related facilities are smarter, greener, safer & operating efficiently. Enjoying double-digit growth in recent years, the business has ambitious plans to capitalise on this success. Due to a business transformation and change process, a 9- month assignment exists for a qualified accountant to undertake a divisional Finance Business Analyst role. Providing financial support to multiple Contract Managers & management teams, your broad and varied brief includes:
•Production & review of monthly management accounts
•Ensuring timely sales invoicing for designated contracts
•Reviewing monthly accruals & journal entries for accuracy & reconciliation to Balance Sheet
•Balance Sheet reconciliations
•Variance analysis including investigation & reporting of variances to budget
•Quarterly forecasts & annual budgeting with operational teams
•Business plan presentation including key variances, risks & opportunities
•Working with operations team to maximise working capital
•Leading contract finance reviews with operational teams
As a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with strong management accounting and financial reporting experience, gained ideally within a contracts or projects environment, you will be accustomed to delivering monthly financials against tight divisional and corporate deadlines. The role demands a self-motivated, proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work alongside a variety of stakeholders. Immediate start available.
