Blackwaters is recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager for a UK manufacturing group in Guildford. It’s no.2 to the FD for a growing division, to manage planning and management reporting across multiple entities, achieving success through stakeholder engagement and insightful commercial analysis. This is a new position, for someone stepping up to progress.
Responsibilities include;
- Review of subsidiary level reporting packs to drive more accurate insight
- Understand operation level performance and challenge stakeholders to improve outlooks
- Regularly visit subsidiaries and conduct business reviews
- Produce monthly Divisional reporting pack and advise leadership team
- Lead whole budget process and direct subsidiary inputs
- Provide ad hoc commercial analysis to enable strategic planning
- Manage and contribute to projects; e.g system upgrades, M&A due diligence and integration
- Support risk control management
Person required;
- Qualified accountant, at developing manager level, probably with good academic history.
- Background with a larger business
- Expertise in financial reporting, planning and business partnering
- Exposure to influencing senior financial and operational stakeholders
