Tax Specialist (Part-time)

I am currently assisting a market-leading organisation in the Uxbridge area, with its search for a part-time Tax Manager to join their friendly and forward-thinking team. This role would suit a person who has moved away from practice into industry, but still wants to work as a Tax specialist.

The role encompasses the following responsibilities:

• Managing tax matters to ensure the Company is fully tax compliant, and benefits from a optimised tax rates.
• Developing & maintaining relationships with HMRC and external tax advisors
• Providing tax advice including, accounting, restructuring and international issues.
• Making Quarterly Payments for UK and Irish Payments on account for Corporation Tax
• Preparing Tax returns
• Arranging for VAT payments & balancing payments for all VAT Returns
• Reconciliation of tax accounts
• Developing effective and efficient tax processes and controls

The company is open to a range of options in relation to the working hours and has the benefit of newly refurbished offices in a location close to public transport links, with parking also available. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who still wants a challenge , but has other time commitments that make a part-time role their best option.
