Finance Systems Analyst - Permanent - Liverpool - £25,000 - £30,000

An established organisation in scientific research who are seeking a part qualified or experienced Accountant with a strong aptitude towards IT systems.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager you will assist with ensuring the organisation is compliant with all internal and external system reporting requirements. You will be a key point of contact for all finance systems issues. You will also be involved in the development of systems and procedures for Finance and other departments. You will also assist to maintain system databases and access controls, and support the departments with your expert knowledge and excel skills.


What you'll need to succeed
You will need an accounting background and a strong aptitude towards systems and databases. You will require very strong excel skills. Ideally you will part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CIPFA or similar. You will ideally have experience of finance system management, preferably with good knowledge of SQL administration.
