Management Accountant

A highly acquisitive Central London based consultancy firm are looking to hire a Management Accountant. The job has arisen due to my client's excellent growth. You'll be reporting in to the Financial Controller (FC).

You must be pursuing your ACCA or CIMA qualification and have 3 to 5 years' management accounting experience within a fast paced industry. Candidates should come from a fast paced industry.

You'll be looking after the company's largest entity, i. their UK entity. Duties include balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss analysis, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, assisting with statutory accounts and accruals and prepayments. Other key responsibilities include expenses, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets & maintaining the depreciation schedule.

This role is incredibly progressive and will suit candidates who are ambitious, proactive and thrive on responsibility. My client is looking for someone who can be a future leader in the business & run the finance team with great authority & competence.

Candidates need to be strong enough to challenge senior managers and stakeholders and have the flair and innovation to come up with new ideas. The FC sits on the Board, so you'll have invaluable exposure to one of company's most influential figures.

There is a significant amount of Excel use in the role, so candidates should be confident building pivot tables and v-look ups from scratch.
