Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is recruiting for an exciting logistics and warehousing organisation in their search for a European Payroll Manager to work primarily out of their office based just outside Oldham.
The European Payroll Manager will need to have experience of looking after a European Payroll and ideally have worked previously with a payroll outsourcing organisation. Management experience is crucial, and it is essential that the European Finance Manager has had a background in managing benefits within businesses. Any exposure to SAP would be preferable although not essential and a second European language would also be a real asset. Key duties for the European Payroll Manager role will involve:-

- Supervision and management of a small payroll team
- Management of payroll queries and discrepancies
- Partner with finance on year-end accounting
- Develop and manage payroll implementations throughout Europe
- Ensure payroll costs are within budget
- Monitor and review the payroll vendor's performance in line with set KPIs
- Stay up to date with new labour and tax legislations
- Ensure GDPR compliance throughout the organisation
- First point of contact for the employee benefits broker and manage and review benefits for the organisation
- Ad-hoc project work
