Finance Manager

Well known retail company based in the York area currently have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their expanding finance function. This fantastic company is a household name and due to their success over the last few years, have created this dynamic new role to better the already successful team.

This role would be a great fit for an experienced ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant who has a history working within retail or other fast paced industries.

Working as a Finance Manager in this dynamic company you will have a small team reporting to you, and you will report directly to the Finance Director to run the daily undertakings of this effective finance function. As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will involve:
*Production and review of the Management accounts including cash flow forecasting and related analysis ensuring any variances are correctly accounted for.
*The analysis and reporting of Profit & Loss performance, Balance Sheet and KPI's.
*Future financial Forecasting and planning.
*Ensuring the compliance with statutory and Industry regulations within the finance function.
*Business partnering, including adhoc analysis and reporting of variance as required.
*Manage a small team and ensure that transactional processing are running efficiently and accurately producing information.
*Help to identify and deliver any improvements that need to be made with software and/or processes.
