A services business requires a Management Accountant to join their Finance team. Located in the head office near Grays, Essex, you'll be joining a hardworking yet rewarding culture in a collective environment.
Role responsibilities -
- Full responsibility of monthly management accounts pack
- Journals and variance reviews on payroll and establishment accounts
- Analysis of exceptional costs
- Assist with the month end closing of ledgers on sage
- Authorising payments
- Preparation of monthly financial reports for the group
- Preparation of the monthly board pack
- EC sales list
- Supervision of Assistant Accountant
- VAT returns
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Candidate requirements -
- ACCA/CIMA part qualified/finalists are encouraged to apply
- Experience in the above duties
- Experience working in a service providing business would be beneficial however not essential
- A proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Intermediate/High level of Excel knowledge
- Outstanding communication skills
