Finance Business Partner

This profitable international Construction, Design & Engineering group, t/o £2bn, operates through several key operating divisions and specialises in the design, planning and maintenance of some of the world's most iconic buildings. Enjoying continued growth in recent years, the business has ambitious plans to capitalise on this success. As a result of an increasing number of projects, the group is currently seeking a qualified accountant to undertake a 12-month assignment as a Finance Business Partner. Supporting a key specialist division, your broad and varied brief includes:

•Preparation of monthly regional management accounts and Project accounting
•Monitoring of divisional results against forecasts & providing variance analysis for review
•Supporting the delivery of rolling quarterly & annual forecasts
•Review of full balance sheet & identifying potential risks
•Review & challenge Project Financials at project forecast meetings
•Review of VAT returns, PSA and other tax returns
•Oversee the control recharges to contracts and JVs
•Providing financial advice on cost models, cash profiles & risk assessments
•Driving the improvement of business process efficiencies & best practice

As a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, you will demonstrate significant PQE operating at key stakeholder level, strong project accounting, W-I-P/WIP, financial analysis, business partnering and month end reporting experience gained within a commercial business environment. As a self-motivated, proactive individual with evidence of influencing senior management, you will be an energetic individual with the ability to challenge the status quo. The ability to travel regionally in role is prerequisite. Immediate start available.
