Accounts Payable Supervisor, High-end Events & Hospitality, Temp-Perm, London, Immediate start, up to £16 per hour

This high-end and successful business, based in London, is one of the UKs leading Events and Hospitality groups. They are now looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the Accounts Payable Assistants within the team. This job has become available due to growth within the team and recent success of the company.

Your new role:
You will be working as part of a friendly, fast-paced finance team. Main responsibilities include:

• Overseeing duties of the Accounts Payable team
• Lead on-going process improvement
• Streamlining the Accounts Payable function
• Key point of contact in regards to emerging supplier issues
• Manage and maintain supplier relationships
• Manage the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger
• Ensuring all supplier invoices have been entered and reconciled at the end of each month
• Ad-hoc requests as requested by Senior Management team

What you need to succeed:
You will need to have 3-5 years of strong Accounts Payable experience gained in a fast paced, high volume invoice environment. You will have previous team management and be confident in your abilities. You will be a real people person with strong organisational skills and a positive, can-do attitude. You will have an open mind, with the ability to adapt to change as the success within continues to push this team forwards.
