You will be working in a large subsidiary of a major international group.  They are investing in a global finance transformation project which will see the group lead the way internationally regarding automation, systems and artificial intelligence.

 

Alongside the day job of commercially focused, business facing management & financial accounting tasks you will be heavily involved in the ERP / automation / AI project for all of the UK businesses.

 

You will have support from the modern-thinking and aspirational FC and Uk FD (both qualified).

 

There will be:

 

Opportunity to develop a completely rounded management accounting / financial accounting and commercial reporting skill set (exposure to budgeting, forecasting, commercial reporting, project accounting, P&L and balance sheet).

You will need:

  • A firm foundation of core accounting skills (month end, accruals and prepayments, BS reconciliation, P&L analysis, etc.)
  • A strong academic record including degree (accountancy and finance or equivalent) and be currently studying toward CIMA or ACCA.
  • Excellent Excel skills and a natural interest and capability when it comes to IT / systems.
  • Strong communication skills and natural professionalism.
  • A high level of ambition and drive.

The business will fully fund your study and will reimburse your current employer if contractually required for the study supported to date.
