Our client, a major financial services business is growing successfully and needs to develop it’s risk team.
Reporting to the Financial Director you will be:
- Providing assurance on the effectiveness of financial controls
- Minimising the risk of material financial misstatement
- Supporting the business in managing risks and controls.
- Providing assurance that the necessary financial controls are operating effectively, and where they are not, to draw attention to them.
- Managing a small professional risks and controls team.
- Supporting and providing insight to enable finance managers to better understand their control environment and assist them in identifying efficiencies and effective risk management
- Providing MI which develops understanding of material risks and controls within the business and the positive impact of effective risk management
- Challenging where necessary the existing controls environment
Candidates will be:
- Qualified accountants
- Excellent at building stakeholder relationships
- Experienced in audit, risk and controls
