SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Strategic Planning, Projects and Reporting Finance Manager for a very well established SME in North Derbyshire. This company offers a wealth of career development and promotion.

As the Finance Manager for Strategic Planning, Projects and Reporting you will be commercial financial business partnering the Commercial and Transformation leadership teams, responsible for relaying financial performance & risk, and providing the right information and input to the leadership team to drive action and optimise performance.

Key responsibilities:

- Link together external market, competitor insight and business performance to produce credible strategic plans, and providing insight and challenge to drive delivery of those strategic plans
- Quickly develop innovative solutions to challenges posed
- Use the output from analysis and models to develop performance insight and solutions.
- Coordinate finance input into Projects and Business Initiatives - ensuring decision support & commercial challenge in order to facilitate successful implementation.
- Manage production of monthly directors and board reports providing accurate and insightful commentary on key financial and operational performance indicators
- Own the EBIT outturn forecasts and risks & opportunities, providing clarity of likely performance outcomes
- Ensure that all financial reporting, analysis and commentary that comes out of the team is of a good quality and that it enables the business to make informed decisions.
- Drive the mid-term planning process, monthly reporting, quarterly re-forecasting

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience of working in a senior commercial finance role. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, an the ability to influence at Senior Leadership & Director level. You will also have experience in driving commercial delivery, with ability to highlight and manage key commercial risks. You will have a pro-active and creative approach to problem solving, with an ability to build excellent working relationships across the business.
