As a leading infrastructure group, this expanding business is responsible for project & services delivery within the Construction, Contracting & Hard Facilities Management sector, often aligned to Private Finance Initiatives-PFI & PPP & Facilities Management contracts and projects. Integral to on-going success is the commercial financial control & reporting of their major projects. The business is currently seeking a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to undertake a 12-month assignment as a Group Finance Manager. A broad brief includes:

Management Accounting
-Production of monthly & quarterly management accounts
-Management of accounts receivable/payables & bank reconciliation process
-Preparation, review & adjustment of central budgets & forecasts
-Preparation & review of month end cash consolidation & forecasts of distribution, cash collection & management
-Challenge & improve Group intercompany balance process
Cash Management
-Liaison with Group Treasury for central cost & distribution process management
-Cashflow management for Group-distribution process
•Statutory Accounts
-Production of Group consolidated IFRS accounts
-Production & review of central HQ statutory accounts
-Involvement with corporation tax for central HQ Group
•Technical Accounting
-Involvement in group internal audit & risk management process
-Development of group use of SAP & BOBJ reporting environment to improve accounting controls, finance & business processes & enhance reporting
-Ownership of the technical side of Group function
-Development of Group accounting policies

As a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant and having trained within the profession, you will demonstrate proven Group consolidation and management reporting experience, strong technical IFRS & UK GAAP skills and ideally a working knowledge of SAP. The role demands an eye for detail, a deadline focus and the ability the drive through process improvements. Immediate start available.
