Financial Controller

BTG are working alongside a growth-orientated, E-commerce business in Crewe, as they look to bring on board a dynamic, qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Financial Controller. The right candidate will have a strong IT background and be driven by career development.

The Role

As Financial Controller is a business critical role, you will support the Senior Management Team and report directly to the Managing Director.

My client has a real requirement for finance to work in a true "Value Add" position around the organisation. They see finance as the area of the business which increases productivity and profit - The successful person in role will be required to produce management reporting tools and highlight area's which will support organisational growth.

Your role will expose you to:

• Commercial Management Reporting Pack
• Identifying future acquisitions
• Due Diligence
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• KPI creation for Sales & Operations
• Competitor Analysis and Pricing Structure
• Management Accounts - taking variances and action point to stakeholders
• Marketing Rationalisation - Cost to Return ratio's
• Project Management

Your Profile

This is a great opportunity for an experienced (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) accountant, to take the next step up in their career to the position of Financial Controller. Due to the nature of the business, this role would ideally be suited to someone has a genuine interest in adding value to the business through detailed business intelligence and financial planning & analysis.

Salary & Benefits

My client has pitched the salary banding between £48,000 and £55,000 for the role of Financial Controller.
