Credit Controller

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a large, global business with offices in Sheffield. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Barnsley, Rotherham and Chesterfield.

THE JOB:

The main purpose of the roles is to ensure cash collection is achieved and customers payments obtained by agreed terms through the maintenance and control of the sales ledger. Reporting to the Team Leader duties will include:

Responsibilities

Ensuring new accounts are opened within set time limits
Reviewing customer credit limits and ensuring accounts are maintained within their limits
Credit control using written and verbal communication
Dealing with queries
Liaising with customers and internal staff to ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
Ensuring orders are released or have valid reason to hold
Reconciling customer accounts
Other ad hoc duties

THE PERSON:

Minimum 3 years experience within a credit control environment is essential
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational skills are required
You must be self motivated
Good IT skills are essential including the use of Excel spreadsheets
