Financial Accounting Manager

ROLE:                   FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

SECTOR:              LEGAL

SALARY:              £50-60K + BENEFITS

LOCATION:          LIVERPOOL

Our client are a major law firm with offices nationally and a base in the Merseyside area.

We are working with them to find a technically gifted and ambitious Financial Accountant to join the office and to add value and input to its reporting processes.

Areas of coverage within the role will include the following: -

-          Preparation of consolidated accounts

-          Management of the Balance sheet

-          Development and maintenance of internal and external stakeholder relationships

-          Production of the accruals and prepayments

-          Involvement with the Audit process     

-          Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register

-          Production of Budget preparations and forecasting models

In order to be considered for this role the client has specified the following: -

-          ACA/ACCA Qualified

-          Strong VAT and Tax knowledge

-          Experience with supervising junior staff

-          Some involvement with professional service clients possibly other law firms
