Axon Moore are working on behalf of a leading bank, who require an experienced Financial Accountant to join their expanding team. My client is an established retail bank, with a consistent track record of sustained and profitable growth. Boasting a broad range of products this business serves the full spectrum of retail banking services to its UK based customers.
You will need to have an enthusiastic, driven personality with relevant experience working for a bank in the financial services industry or a regulated organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Through reconciliation, analysis and review, you will confirm the validity of financial information used in the Group’s reporting
- Maintain the general ledger
- Produce in depth analysis of financial information
- Management of daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Support the Statutory Accounts, Regulatory & Treasury Reporting processes
- VAT & Tax returns
- Input into Management Reporting, the annual budget process and interim forecasts
- Support new system, platforms and product implementation
- Degree Educated
- Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience in Internal Audit and Statutory Reporting
- Ambitious, enthusiastic and driven personality
