Senior Management Accountant

I am currently searching for a Management accountant for an exciting private equity-backed company active in the hospitality sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Management Accountant to get exposure to a private equity environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to line manage one accountant studying towards qualification. The candidate will be expected to manage and consolidate the ledgers of two entities within the group.

This successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and have extensive budgeting and forecasting skills. They must be very attentive and will be required to monitor balance sheets. This role has scope to be involved in integrating acquisitions in the future for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the line manager to one partly qualified accountant
• Conduct training on accountancy software package for other members of staff
• Managing two ledgers of the business
• Group accounting responsibilities
• Consolidation of 2 entities within the company structure
• Carry out bank reconciliations regularly
• Completing invoices regularly
• Work alongside and touch base with the Group FC

Experience and Attributes:

• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA is essential
• NetSuite or Oracle accounting system experience is essential
• Highly motivated with career progression goals
• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous management experience would be an advantage
• A self-starter keen to get experience in a dynamic environment
