The role:
This is a real commercial, value adding finance business partnering role. You'll be providing support and advice on strategic decision making; you'll drive business performance at operational level and you'll do so through forging strong, credible business relationships with senior operational stakeholders across the business.

You'll be evaluating potential investments, modelling scenarios for acquisitions, disposals or other significant investments and reviewing post investment performance.

You'll have the autonomy to determine where your time and efforts will be best served: you won't be micro-managed so you'll shape your own role.

About you:
You'll be a fully qualified accountant with an exemplary career to date. You'll have excellent soft skills; be a natural relationship builder and have the credibility to influence at C level. You'll be focused on adding value and delivery. You'll have a strong work ethic and be a proven self starter.

Your experience could be from a variety of sectors but you'll need to demonstrate your ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail arena. A large company background is important.
