An established and highly respected business in Manchester City Centre requires a highly driven Finance Manager to join their Group Finance function for a full-time, interim fixed term contract of at least 12 months (maternity cover).
Responsibilities of your new role
Your primary duties as interim Finance Manager will include:
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller to transition the Finance department into an upper quartile performer
- Covering for the permanent Finance Manager on maternity leave
- Producing management accounts
- Statutory reporting
- Budgeting & forecasting
- P&L control
- Managing a team of 5
Candidate requirements
The business seeks a fully qualified Finance Manager who demonstrates:
- Strong accounting experience
- Tax technical knowledge, including IFRS, UK GAAP, Corporation Tax, VAT and PAYE
- Previous experience in a PLC reporting environment is beneficial
Salary
The successful Finance Manager will be offered up to £60,000 pro rata plus a competitive benefits package.
