Financial Controller

BTG Accounting and Finance is supporting one of the UK's leading entrepreneurs in the recruitment of a Financial Controller position to be based in Manchester City Centre.

The Role

As Financial Controller, you will be in a pivotal role within the business, engaging with both the Commercial and Transactional sides of finance, providing a conduit to the board and helping drive organisational efficiencies.

My client is looking for a senior appointment of a Professionally Qualified Accountant, to create robust and effective internal controls to support the organisations growth strategies.

The role will include:

• Board Level Engagement
• Cost saving analysis & organisational efficiencies rationalisation
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Investment opportunity
• Management of the annual audit process
• Stress testing / Cash flow forecasting

My client is looking to bring on board a talented Financial Controller, who has the ability to provide detailed and accurate information to be used at board level. You will be the commercial outlet of finance, and the ideal candidate will be embedded within each party of the organisation's teams. You will be tasked with adding value, company wide.

Your Profile

Applicants must be qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA and be able to demonstrate how they have provided commercial and strategic support to an organization. Salary

To attract the best talent in the marketplace my client is looking to pay £50,000 - £55,000 for the role of Financial Controller.
