DVV Media International is the UK-based subsidiary of DVV Media GmbH (www.dvvmedia.com) and specialises in media services and business solutions across a variety of B2B vertical markets. The business is located in Sutton, Surrey and employs over 80 members of staff with a turnover of £14m. DVV Media International is active across four main sectors – road freight, human resources, rail and air cargo – and delivers a suite of magazines, websites and events serving those markets. 

 

A Sales Ledger Administrator is required to join this rapidly expanding media business. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the individual shall be responsible for a number of duties including:

 

  • Banking and processing of cheques received on a daily basis. This will include foreign currency accounts (USD and EUR)
  • Raising invoices and credit notes
  • Processing event attendance invoices and receipts via credit card
  • Emailing daily invoices and monthly statements
  • Processing credit card payments and allocation to customer accounts
  • Reconciling adverts in publications back to the booking system
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Dealing with customer queries and requests on a daily basis
  • Involvement in other tasks such as purchase ledger duties to enable job rotation and provide cover if other staff are away from the office.

 

Experience required

  • Must have at least 2 years experience working in a similar role within a finance department
  • Knowledge of Sage preferable
  • Proficient in Excel
