Our client is high-growth service provider located in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, embarking on a period of significant change. As a result an exciting Finance Business Partner opportunity has been created for a commercially focused qualified accountant to support the business on various ongoing projects.

As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Finance Director, Transformation Director and various budget holders, to provide timely and accurate financial insight and support on various IT and Transformation related projects, in order to contribute to keeping them on track.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for the communication of the monthly financial position to the relevant managers and budget holders.Ensure financial plans are accurate, feasible and guide management action where necessary to ensure delivery of financial balance and achievement of cost improvements / efficiency savings.Provide information and support to budget holders and the management team.Communicate financial issues to non-financial managers to affect improvements to service delivery.Provide financial advice and support to assist Directors / Budget Holders to meet targets.Assist in training of budget holders on financial management issues. Maintain and develop reports, summaries and accompanying analyses.Produce financial management information for the production of performance management data.To keep accurate and orderly documentation to support financial transactions.Maintain accruals and prepayment schedules for monthly reporting.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with a track record of management accounting, project accounting or business partnering.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role will interact with multiple stakeholders, as is the ability to self motivate and manage time effectively.
