Your new firm
A well established independent firm of Chartered Accountants with multiple offices across the Lancashire & Cumbrian regions are looking to appoint a client facing portfolio manager to join their firm to be based in the South Lake District region. This opportunity has arisen due to succession planning within the firm and it is a great opportunity for an ambitious and driven accountant to further their career.

Your new role
As a Client Manager you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients consisting predominantly of OMBs along with some agricultural clients, sole traders and partnerships. With these clients you will be responsible for overseeing all their accounting and tax compliance along with providing business advice, implementing cloud based software and producing management information to your clients. This role will be predominantly client facing and you will be responsible for conducting regular client meetings.

Over time this opportunity can allow for progression through to partnership for the right person.


What you'll need to succeed
This is a great job opportunity based in the South Lake District region for a qualified (ACA / ACCA) accountant to undertake a client facing role. The partners are seeking a personable and commercially minded client manager who can develop new business in the local area therefore you must be a confident individual, with a keen interest in networking and strong interpersonal skills.
