Your new employer
The FP&A Manager will join a fast-growing wearable technology business founded 3 years ago with a vision to connect families and encourage exploration without compromising security or fun. The success of their first award-winning wearable technology has led to the launch of a broader portfolio of connected products, further enhanced by their collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment to get kids playing outdoors. Via a single platform, the products allow people to connect everything they love, and its critically-acclaimed products are trusted by families worldwide. The company is going through a very exciting time with product developments into new and expanding markets. They have offices in Norway, UK, Germany, and Spain, and have big plans to continue expanding in Europe and North America.
Responsibilities of your new role
The core duties of your new Financial Planning and Analysis role will include:
- Leading all aspects of supply FP&A activities (reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis); provide financial support to management
- Setting and reviewing of monthly and weekly KPIs for submission to management in a timely manner
- Developing dynamic pricing models to support commercial objectives and ensure acceptable economic returns
- Leading/supporting ad hoc financial analysis projects or building new business cases
- Working with management to develop 1 and 3 year plans monitoring progress against these
- Managing and controlling the business cashflow including - day to day payments, reconciliations and weekly reporting
- Development and implementation of a clear schedule of authority as well as prioritisation of payments
- Reviewing our current processes to find ways to improve our controls and cash management processes
- Providing analytical insight into the numbers with the ability to report that back to senior stakeholders. Also, providing explanations and advice from that data in terms of growing the business, margins and cost reduction
- Working with other European countries to provide support and extract any relevant financial information needed
The Successful Applicant
The business seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager who demonstrates:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / CIMA / ACCA
- 3+ years in FP&A / Financial Control
- Advanced Excel and finance modelling skills
- Strong communications skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Experience of working in a growing SME would be ideal
