Are you a numbers person who wants a hands-on role? Are you used to dealing with a varied workload and setting your own priorities whilst managing the detail? Could you work across various levels to bring robust but clear financial management? Elrha is seeking a Finance Manager to manage financial reporting, transactional processing, financial systems and our subgrantee due diligence process.
Elrha is a global charity that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We fund and support projects that go on to shape the way in which people across the world are supported during a crisis. We are based in London and Cardiff, but our roles have a global reach. We’re an established and respected part of the humanitarian community, working closely and meaningfully with our fellow networks and actors to make change happen.
You will be a qualified accountant with a mixture of financial and management accounting experience at a senior level. You’ll have previously monitored financial processes and controls in a complex organisation and have extensive experience of staff management. You will have excellent analytical and interpretive abilities, and will use these in conjunction with your strong communication and problem-solving skills to be able to present financial information to a broad range of people. Experience of project management, including involvement in the transfer of financial systems, would be an advantage.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to an organisation that creates positive change in the humanitarian sector. We look forward to hearing from you.
We are committed to the safeguarding and protection of vulnerable people in our work. This post is subject to a range of vetting checks including a criminal records disclosure.
