Are you a qualified or part qualified Accountant looking for your next career move?
System People Accountancy and Finance are looking for an experienced accountant for a manufacturing site near Carlisle for a 6 to 12 month fixed term contract.
You would be joining an established and reputable Plc Company working for the Financial Controller of the Group who will be based on-site.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly accounts and half yearly statutory accounts
- Insurance declarations
- VAT returns
- Product costings
- Authorising bank payments
- Inter-company balances
- Capital appraisals
- Budgeting and Forecasting
About you:
- Someone who is comfortable working with all levels of professionals.
- You should possess an interest in getting to know the business
- You should be comfortable questioning others where necessary
- Qualified/Part Qualified
- Must be able to drive
- Strong IT skills, particularly in regard to Excel and accounting systems.
