Badenoch + Clark are recruiting a Finance Operations Manger for a rapidly growing business in Tunbridge Wells. Reporting into the Finance Director this newly created role will have responsibility for managing a team of 15. You will also have the added responsibility of assisting in implementing group wide financial strategy's and delivering finance related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
*Overseeing the operational finance teams, including recruitment, management and development of staff
*Driving integration of operational finance teams and procedures across the offices
*Adapting the operational finance teams and processes to IT system changes
*Working with the Revenue Manager, Divisional and Team Heads to ensure that centralised billing processes meet business needs effectively and efficiently
*Reviewing and implementing changes, as required, to ensure operational finance procedures are commercially focused and meet changing business needs
*Driving initiatives to enhance compliance controls and address areas of non-compliance and internal finance procedures
Key Skills:
*Experienced Finance Operations Manager
*Accustomed to working on own initiative, without close supervision
*Ability to demonstrate technical expertise and commercial awareness
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Confident dealing with people of all levels of seniority throughout the organisation
*Highly IT literate, with advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products
