Interim Finance Business Partner

Highly innovative, market-leading and award-winning group (FMCG manufacturing sector) seek a highly capable Commercial Accountant / Finance Business Partner.

You will join the business on a fixed term contact for the next 6 months. 

This is a newly created assignment within a fast paced multi-site subsidiary.  You will undertake a role focused on ‘value added’ activities. Your remit will surround providing financial support to the Commercial and Development functions. 

There will be an interesting mix of routine and ad hoc reporting - contributing to budgets and forecasts, financially appraising and monitoring all new product launches, evaluation of sales promotions and other commercial or procurement projects to safeguard the profitability of the business.

A chunky, visible and interesting commercial finance assignment within a business amid growth and positive change.
 
The role would suit a qualified finance professional with demonstrable commercial acumen and a track record of success in a business partnering capacity.

• You will have strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel.
• You will also need a firm foundation of core technical accounting skills and a proactive approach to introducing robust controls where required.
• Technically strong with commercial finance background.
• Good knowledge of IT and information systems, ability to interrogate data and advance Excel user.

If you are able to commit to a medium term project assignment with a commercial focus we would welcome the chance to speak.  Previous experience of a fast paced manufacturing setting would be a significant advantage.
