Bookkeeper/Management Accountant

My Client, a well-regarded Accountant Practice, is about to embark on an exciting phase of its development and as such is looking to recruit into this newly created role. Reporting directly into the Partner the client facing role will be responsible for the following:

o Working with a wide range of diverse Clients across several business sectors
o Assisting new Clients with company formation, establishing chart of accounts, nominal codes and selection of appropriate accounting software.
o Working with existing businesses to offer guidance on maximising profits and reducing tax liability
o Producing monthly and quarterly accounts - P+L and balance sheet information
o Assisting with HMRC filings
o Day to day assistance with bookkeeping and accounting transactions

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 or 3 years hands-on accountancy experience, during which time you will have become an experienced user of Sage and/or Xero. You will be a good communicator and be able to advice on financial matters to non-finance people. AAT qualification and/or ACA/ACCA part-qualified status would be highly desirable for this role
