Finance Manager

Finance Manager | Fitness Brand | Central London

Looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to join a dynamic Sports & Fitness brand based in Central London.

This newly created position is an opportunity to join a business that has gone from strength to strength since its establishment in 2015, with plans to expand the business globally in the next 18 months. the Finance Manager will play an integral part in the growth and will be working closely with the operational team, ultimately reporting directly into the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities,

• Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts (comprising full profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow) including variance reports and commentary
• Assisting in putting together the Management Pack including monitoring and reviewing KPIs
• Driving cost efficiencies across the business
• Monitoring and analysing inventory
• Managing the month end process, closing ledgers and ensuring / checking accuracy of data, balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments/accruals/fixed assets/ bank reconciliations)
• Monthly payroll
• Managing the company’s VAT, PAYE, Pension reconciliations and returns
• Assisting in the development of the business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Assisting in the preparation of detailed budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances
• Monitoring cash flow

Experience required,

• Qualified Accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Commercial and analytical approach
• Advanced/Strong Excel skills, experience of using Xero
• Retail, Consumer, Online experience essential/preferred
• Good, accurate attention to detail
