Shared Service Centre Manager

BTG are working alongside their Manchester City Centre based client, who are in need of a Shared Service Centre Manager. This is a great opportunity for a senior finance manager who has experience of implementing and driving forward continuous improvement processes. The right candidate will already have sound understanding of finance shared service centres and requirements for success.

The Role

The Finance Shared Services Manager will lead and develop a team, covering key finance processes, including accounts payable, cash processing and third-party administration. In this role you will be constantly looking to improve and refine processes to enable greater efficiency across the SSC. You will support the Finance Director in ensuring teams are reviewing, implementing and following best practice in all operations.

Key aspects of your responsibility include:

• Assist in the creation and refinement of processes and procedures to ensure the transactional finance teams run smoothly
• Improve communication and understanding across the business on transactional processes
• Monitor timely and accurate input of supplier invoices and payment of supplier accounts within contractual terms and the resolution of all queries.
• Oversee timely and accurate issuance of invoices and credit control for all customers
• Manage monthly closing of the Sales and Purchase Ledgers and posting of month end information.

Salary & Benefits

My client has set the banding at £60,000 to £65,000 for the role of Shared Service Centre Manager.
