One of the most reputable accountancy firms in the UK are currently looking for an Audit Manager to join their Chelmsford hub on a permanent basis.

Your duties/responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients ranging in sector and size, from SME's to FTSE listed clients
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, liaising with them throughout the Audit cycle
- Leading audit reviews & agreeing timetables - overseeing the process from start to finish
- Managing junior members of staff
- Business development - speaking to and meeting prospective clients, and assisting with the winning of new clients
- Assisting Directors and Partners with ad-hoc tasks

The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualified, or equivalent
- Proven external Audit experience, preferably managing your own portfolio
- Excellent working knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/FRS)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
