Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a proactive and commercially savvy Commercial Analyst for a fast growing, dynamic and instantly recognisable online business in Manchester. This role is available at an exciting time and the successful candidate will play a major part in the company's current business transformation project.
The role provides commercial support to several critical areas of the business - with an overall remit to drive commercial and financial awareness throughout the company, therefore you will need to be agile in managing multiple priorities.
You will be tasked to provide commercial insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on key performance drivers eg pricing & promotions plans & strategies, competitor review, scenario modelling for all markets, sensitivity analysis (impact vs budget & forecast), scenario modelling & review of affiliate/student/CRM promotions, monitoring competitor promotional activity & establish impact on performance.
The successful applicant will either be a qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA) or someone coming from a similar commercial Analyst role ideally within retail, ecommerce or leisure background.
You will have experience with data extraction, manipulation, creating models (pricing and promotional) and good presentation skills. The role requires an ambitious and proactive individual who enjoys applying a strong commercial focus, with the ability to understand business strategy, identify and interpret financial trends. You will enjoy building robust and productive analysis to support and challenge all areas of the business.
