Accounting Practice Manager

Forward-looking firm of Accountants that provides bookkeeping, management accounting, payroll, VAT and Virtual FD services to a range of fast-growing business clients, is looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join them as Manager of their management accounting team. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing firm at a key stage in its development.

Responsibilities


* Overall service delivery responsibility for a portfolio of clients;
* Managing a team of three junior staff;
* Some preparation of monthly management accounts;
* Reviewing client work;
* Responsible for billing and overall profitability for portfolio;
* Growing client portfolio and general business development.

Experience

The person required for this role will be qualified with solid relevant experience, ideally from Practice, although candidates from Commercial and Indistry witll also be considered. They should have had direct exposure to the following:

* Staff management;
* Management accounting; and
* And Cloud Accounting.

Beyond the above criteria, preference will be given to the broadest range of experience.

Someone who really takes ownership and is totally client and deadline driven. Someone who enjoys working with clients and is flexible and responsive enough to meet their day-to-day needs.


Qualifications

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. However, consideration will be given to other relevant qualifications and people in unconventional situations.
