Our client, an Independent Asset Management company are seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a permanent Part Time position - 2 days per week.
This is an exciting new role driven by the growth and development of the business. The advertised position is part time, but for the right applicant there is considerable scope to develop the role going forward.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating systems and reporting to support the individual business lines as well as the wider company. This will include day to day management of the company's finances, creating and maintaining budgets and management accounts as well as reviewing existing processes and procedures and coming up with improvements.
The Role:
- Preparation of monthly consolidated group financial information
- Preparation of quarterly Board reports
- Development of key financial KPI for individual teams and group
- Develop annual budgets with the teams heads as well as for the group
- Produce consolidated annual budget and cash flow
- Monitor performance against Budget and KPI
- Manage internal finance functions using existing software (Xero)
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the company complies with financial procedures and regulation (capital adequacy requirements)
- Manage the day to day finance function of the business including invoicing, payments, payroll etc
